How Often Should You Condition Leather?
A good rule of thumb is to condition leather once per season, but it depends on your climate and how often you use the item.
Condition more often if your leather is exposed to:
- Snow, rain, or wet conditions
- Dry heat or indoor heating
- Heavy use (work boots, gloves, tack)
If your leather looks dull, feels stiff, or starts showing light cracking—it’s time.
