Take Good Care of Your Things

I remember as a little girl watching my dad sit down most Sunday evenings while he was watching 60 Minutes and polishing his one pair of brown and one pair of black leather dress shoes. He took good care of those leather shoes and as a result, I think they lasted him close to a decade.
After a decade or two of "fast fashion" I know many of us are rethinking our approach to consumerism and the impact our choices have on the planet.
We here at Snowshoe are also thinking hard about our responsibilities and the role we play in sustainability. For example, we are rethinking our packaging right now to move away from plastic.
On a more macro level, we like the idea of our product helping to bring back the traditions of taking care of things - protecting, preserving and restoring leather investments. If we all buy less, but take good care of what we have, it will lessen our impact on the planet.
